Upper Legs

The upper legs comprise the thigh region and contain major muscle groups. The quadriceps, located at the front, are responsible for knee extension, crucial for activities like walking, running, and jumping. The hamstrings, at the back, facilitate knee flexion and hip extension, aiding in running and squatting movements. The adductors on the inner thigh help bring the legs together and stabilize the pelvis during movement. These muscles work together to support mobility, balance, and powerful lower body movements.
