Supinators

Supinators are muscles that facilitate the outward rotation of the forearm, turning the palm upward. The primary supinator muscle is the supinator, located on the posterior side of the forearm, which works to rotate the radius over the ulna. The biceps brachii also acts as a powerful supinator when the elbow is flexed. These muscles are essential for various activities that require wrist and hand positioning, such as turning a doorknob, using a screwdriver, or performing tasks that require palm-up hand orientation.
