The Hands Clasped Circular Toe Touch exercise is a dynamic stretch that targets the hamstrings, lower back, and shoulders. It helps improve flexibility and mobility in these areas.
How to perform
To perform the Hands Clasped Circular Toe Touch exercise, follow these steps:1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and arms at your sides.
2. Clasp your hands together in front of you, palm to palm.
3. Slowly bend at the waist and lower your torso towards the floor, keeping your legs straight.
4. Reach your hands towards your toes and try to touch them while keeping your arms and head in line with your spine.
5. Hold the stretch for a few seconds, feeling a gentle stretch in your hamstrings and lower back.
6. Slowly bring your torso back up to the starting position and then turn your torso to the right, keeping your hands clasped.
7. Bend at the waist and lower your torso towards the floor again, this time reaching towards your right toes.
8. Hold the stretch for a few seconds, feeling a stretch in the left side of your body.
9. Slowly come back up to the starting position and then repeat the stretch on the left side, reaching towards your left toes.
10. Continue this circular motion, moving from side to side, for 8-10 repetitions on each side.
Remember to breathe deeply and evenly throughout the exercise, and only move as far as is comfortable for you. This exercise can be done as part of a warm-up routine or as a standalone stretch.
