Muscle Groups:
Upper Arms

Muscles:
Biceps

How to perform

Step by step instructions:
1. Sit on a bench facing the cable machine with your feet planted firmly on the ground.
2. Adjust the bench so that the cable attachment is at arm's length when your arm is fully extended.
3. Grab the handle with one hand and position your upper arm against the inside of your thigh.
4. Keep your elbow stationary and curl the handle towards your shoulder, contracting your biceps.
5. Slowly lower the handle back to the starting position, fully extending your arm.
6. Repeat for the desired number of reps on one arm before switching to the other arm.
7. Maintain control throughout the movement and avoid using momentum to lift the weight.
8. Keep your back straight and core engaged throughout the exercise to minimize swinging.

Note: It's important to choose an appropriate weight that allows you to perform the exercise with proper form and without straining. Start with lighter weight and gradually increase as you build strength.

Equipment required

Cable
Cable equipment consists of adjustable pulleys attached to weight stacks that allow for resistance training. This equipment is commonly used for strength training exercises that target various muscle groups in the body, such as chest, back, arms, and legs. Cable equipment provides a versatile and functional way to perform exercises that mimic real-life movements, improving muscle endurance, stability, and coordination.
