The Toe Touch Crunch is an abdominal exercise that targets the upper and lower abs, as well as the obliques. It involves lifting your upper body off the ground to touch your toes while engaging your core muscles.
How to perform
Instructions:1. Lie on your back with your legs extended straight and your arms reaching overhead.
2. Engage your core muscles and lift your shoulder blades off the ground as you reach your arms towards your toes.
3. At the top of the movement, try to touch your toes with your fingertips while keeping your legs straight.
4. Hold the position for a second, then slowly lower your upper body back down to the starting position.
5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
6. Make sure to keep your lower back pressed into the mat throughout the exercise to avoid straining your lower back.
7. For an added challenge, you can hold a dumbbell or medicine ball in your hands while performing the exercise.
